Think Simple

Life is simple.
We make it complicated.
Making life simple just means following your heart.Doing what you want to do.A happy go lucky attitude.Feeling free to do anything.(Obviously not anything.Like a... You cannot drink and drive(you'll have to pay a hefty fine) or you just cannot kick any stray animal(Maneka must be watching over you)...).
Stay simple.
Its easier said than done.
Its not very simple to keep your life simple.Its neither very difficult.
I hate when people ask me "Hey,howz life?".What a heavy question!
I feel like I am in the middle of an examination hall(trying to cross that magical 40 mark),and put forward with a question that I have never heard of.
I start feeling,I am going to flunk.
If I start to describe what they asked for,even they would not have time to hear.Rather,I am happy when people keep it simple,just by saying "Hey, wassup"? or "Hey, how are things going"? or "How 'bout your college"?
That makes the surrounding cheerful, and the question answerable.

One of my friend always tells me to be open and straight forward.To put myself in others shoes.Then think about any situation.That will never cause problems.

And the most important thing,think good about others!
Because they ARE!
That keeps things SIMPLE...always.

Some sting ray pets



Recently,I read a book.A good book.One of the finest mysteries I have ever read.Page turning suspense.Everything with so fascinating detail that i could not get enough of it.It took me to the road that was eye-opening.Every page had something new and unexplored.It was getting more complicated towards the end.This masterpiece should be mandatory reading.
And yes,it was mandatory!
The book is none other than Operating Systems(Kamal's printed and written notes)...Publisher:Jumbo xerox, Borivali.

I got this book just few days back,thanks to my friend who is always there to help.You can call him an eleventh hour Samaritan for me.All that I can score in OS,accounts to him.
He is really a good guy and never gets angry on anyone.Though he has the ability to make people angry!

I just wanted to thank him.And with just less than 3 days left for the next paper(dats not much time),I still haven't touched my book...Lets see whats this book is going to be like...A slow read or a racy thriller...

And if you are wondering what does the title 'some sting ray pets' mean its just an anagram for Operating Systems!

Gather for a Get Together

Next time you get an opportunity to visit family get-togethers or similar kind of functions,do attend them.Like me,many find it boring,if they have no one of their age at such functions.I hate them.
But then you miss all the fun.

Recently,I went for one such get together.Now you know,why am I talkin about this family and socialising stuff!

The party thrown by my close relatives,was to celebrate 26 years of (successful) married life!
An annual occasion though!

Now,an interesting thing about such get togethers is the people you meet!
They are of all kinds and varieties you may imagine....
Good,bad,beautiful,ugly,helping,disgusting,co-operating,disregarding,kind,disrespectful....Everyone enjoying together.
Sometimes you find someone your kind(any of the above mentioned) and get along doing your kind of things(Infact I have heard of people finding their consort at such parties...).
You may also discover new qualities(good or bad) in people you never thought were possessed with it.
Like I got to know something about someones behaviour-she was so disrespectful towards elders!
I never imagined that of her.Someone has truly said "Appearances are often Deceptive".

Apart from these things,theres one thing I always enjoy about such occasions.
"FOOD"
And like people,if it comes in varieties,its just a........mouth watering yummy!
If theres good food,everyother thing is forgiven.
And i felt blessed when I was treated with such 'good' food at the party.Everything seemed so 'blessed'!
I no more had complaints of the disrespectfuls!
I love get togethers!!!!

Hope for the Best

Blogging gives me satisfaction.
Studying keeps me busy.

But in these exam days,I would prefer studying and remain busy rather than being satisfied....

Satisfaction is a state of mind.And Studying is to the mind what DOS is to a computer.Boring,outdated,tedious and time-consuming....But DOS has got its own advantages....Maybe this applies to studies too.I may have not figured it out.
But let me know if anyone has.
But one things true,just keep doing the hardwork and hope for the best....
Because success and failure are transitory.But hope is eternal.
Good things happen to them,who think about happening of good things!

"My First Post"

Writing this blog gives me immense pleasure and I am happy to be featured on the web!
Just heard(or read) it somewhere.And yes,i m immensely pleased n happy to include it in my first ever blog!

When I first thought about writing a blog,I just thought about writing it.But when I started writing it,I started writing it.So foolish....

Its always good to ask for advice when you are about to begin with something.Especially something which you haven't done before.So I just told some of my friends that I am thinking of writing a blog.And the advice I got from them was simply superb."Write it then!"
You cannot believe, that people who haven't attempted a thing anytime before in the past can come up with such suggestive advices for that thing....My (god gifted) friends....
But one of my friends really encouraged me to go for it.He said,"Yes,you should write.Write something even if you are not good at it(Yes! I call this encouragement.)Today you may write something,tomorrow you may write some more things and eventually you may realise that you have written so much that you can even publish it!"
So business minded and philosophical.This friend of mine(I will further call him as No.1),you must hav figured out,is a bit philosophical(and if you haven't figured it out,read above,I have mentioned it).He is a fan of Robin Sharma(Yes,that bald guy featuring in many of the newspapers' life and philosophy columns and the author of The Greatness Guide).
And so this no.1 is always talkin philosophy or psychology or something like that.Its really very morale boosting (sometimes).And when no.1 reads this blog,I am sure he will know I am talking about him.But he must be happy that he got himself 'published' on my very first blog.
And to be frank,I am not writing to get published or anything.But all in all,no.1's advice was 'morale boosting'.
I really wanted to give a way to my thoughts and whats better than blogging?
Anytime,anywhere,anyhow(people dont get to see u,you can be best dressed,worst dressed or.........;-)).
So I think I am going to enjoy blogging here....Hope you too have a pleasant stay....
